Default Make "Battle for Lion's Arch" Repeatable

It was the fun version of Thunderhead Keep. There, I said it. Tons of NPC's protecting a town, all with certain skills helpful during the quest, and memorable spawns and boss fights. It was like the exact opposite of a dungeon run.

And so, I say to make this a repeatable quest, complete with a Hard Mode reward (4 times the normal reward seems fair...)

I'd like it to be repeatable even without a reward.

Sure it was an epic battle but dont make it tedious and boring..
I still want the epic feeling I managed to do a challenge and fair enough it was a good ending.

I want Anet to continue the lore instead the forming of the future city ebonhawke.

I didn't even see the battle so our heros must have made one hell of battle for us and panic on Gwen must have been one of the keys.
Please let me enjoy this without a ping going from 2-7k all of the time all i did was hit ua all of the time to possibly rez someone if they were dead.

No reward is needed just let me play it and see what i'm doing!

How so? I mean, most of the game's story is repeatable.

I'm just about to try this mission, so I can't say anything one way or another. From what I've heard, though, it's an incredibly fun quest.

Edit: I just finished the quest with a guildmate and it was incredible. Signed, signed, signed!

All WiK missions should be repeatable like quest-mission 'missions' of the EOTN.

You could just go to a historian/archivist, get a 'story book' separate for NM and HM and roll the fun again. I can't see what's wrong with that. All other core missions are repeatable already. The basic distinction between a quest and mission, is that mission is 'more important' and can be repeated to heart's desire.

If quests aren't repeatable, people eventually finish them and it makes it harder and harder to find a group, which isn't really fair for people who want to do this quest a week from now.

Also, it was fun.

Also, Sardelac.

Then don't play it again? Fun things only get repetitive and boring if you choose to repeat it over and over again.

It seems odd (almost ludicrous) to create content that you can only play a limited number of times, especially when the devs are pushed as they currently are.
I don't see why they shouldn't be repeatable: Missions are repeatable, dungeons are repeatable, EotN quests are repeatable.

Listen to the mustache. Every quest is repeatable without a reward, it's abandoning the quest after you do it before accepting the reward and doing it all over again. I've done it twice so far on my monk.

that's dumb. It should be repeatable, like every other mission in all the games. Especially when they put weapons behind it. Even if they are just a few greens.

The weapons that you can get at the end of the quest (Greens and the Oppressor golds) can be obtained in Lion's Arch keep any time after you've completed the quest... that's no reason to make it repeatable.

It was the most fun I've had in Guild Wars in ages... that's a reason to make it repeatable, even with no reward or a seriously reduced reward for repeats...

I wanna go again! HM this time.

for the record, my ritualist didnt have the quest, and I was able to join a group doing the mission. You can repeat it if you find someone who hasn't beat it yet(its like the mox quests).

I don't see why they shouldn't be repeatable: Missions are repeatable, dungeons are repeatable, EotN quests are repeatable.
Some quests are limited to once per character and this is lore and I doubt the live team have the time to make it. They got skill updates on their mind and continuing the story with Thackeray and Langmar.

So just no keep the stuff as it is if they make it repeteable it should only give reward once. Gold as a reward i dont care but its still easy to obtain through the ZQ and the WiK daily quests.

So still not signed.

The quest is fun, and not only provides a fantastic testing ground for H/H builds (although it does bias in favour of AoE, since there's so many foes) it provides an excellent testbed to practice micro.

Treat it like you're "re-enacting past events" like they do for Prophecies & factions characters in Chabeck Village or the other Istani Missions in Nightfall (or any of e BMP quests) - problem solved.

/signed.

But if Characters that have completed it can do it over with others who haven't, then it's not a pressing issue.
